GROUP EVENTS

Please note that it is you - the rider - who is deemed to be in control of your motorbike at all times during all Norfolk Branch Honda Owners Club group activities and that the Branch will not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury to persons or damage to vehicles occurring in the course of any events organised by the Branch.  All members attending Branch events do so entirely at their own risk and must maintain their own insurance to cover any said injury to persons or damage to vehicles and must be riding a road legal vehicle - having valid tax, insurance and MOT certificate (if applicable).  Participants on social rides are advised of the Branch guidelines as follows:

• arrive with a full tank of fuel at the agreed time and place
• if possible have breakdown cover for your machine
• be responsible for your own safety
• ride in accordance with the current Road Traffic legislation at all times during the organised ride
• rides will commence promptly at the agreed time
• After the ride you are responsible for your return trip - this is not part of the organised run unless otherwise stated
• When riding keep to a staggered position so that each bike has maximum visibility. 
• Maintain your position in the formation.
• If the ride out is using the drop off system this will be advised by the Ride Leader on the day.  Generally this will be for rides with 6 bikes or more.  When using the drop off system the Leaders and tail end charlies will wear Hi-Vis.
